Mr Nathan Banda (SA RED CROSS SOCIETY JHB BRANCH MANAGER) accompanied by his ever enthusiastic team paid a visit to the Victory Home Johannesburg (Shelter) to share some food parcels to help feed the residents of the shelter and community.

The Management and residents of the shelter were very grateful and showed their appreciation by warmly welcoming the Red Cross team into their home to spend some time with them.

The South African Red Cross Society hosted a wellness campaign whereby they offered free bp, bloodsugar  H.I.V testing.

The Campaign was a great success as multitudes flocked to the venue to engage and participate in the campaign. 

Many of the participants were very happy and mentioned this type of thing should be done more often.

The South African Red Cross Society really supports and stands for Health& Care as it is one of the SA Red  Cross core programs.

The South African Red Cross Society is offering training in various medical practice courses 

i.e. First Aid, Home Based Care/Nursing. 

The Red Cross Academy is offering training and certification at the Johannesburg branch 

5 Ryder Road, Bordeaux, Randburg, Johannesburg, 2194.

Many of our students have attained the qualification and have used it to get employment in 

the medical/health sector in countries like the U.K and many more European and local countries. The training centre is very prestigious and is producing very competent, highly professional and passionate health sector champions.

Very friendly and qualified lecturers are dedicated to seeing all the students of the training excel in the course and long after they have attained the qualification and certification they still belong to the red cross family.
